Embracing Failure

Embracing Failure....

Have you ever felt like giving up? That breaking point when you feel like you've tried everything and yet, nothing seems to work. Whether it's at work, in studies, or in a relationship, we've all been there.

But don't lose hope just yet.

Let me share a story with you that might help someone who is currently feeling like a failure after trying their hardest and is at the brink of giving up.

There was a girl who was a die-hard government job aspirant. She didn't care about the role or department - all she wanted was to be a government employee.

She gave her first attempt of the  exam and failed. Second attempt - failed. Third attempt - failed. Fourth attempt - failed.

Year after year, she kept preparing and giving exams until she reached the last year where she could actually attempt the exam.

Can you imagine the pressure she must have felt to be on that last chance point? But she didn't give up. She took all her struggles, failures, and bounce backs, and decided to give the exam one last time.

And she cleared it, finally getting a government job in a good organization.

She clicked a picture of all the books and pens she used for all those years of struggle. The ink of the multiple dozens of pens got over but her spirit stayed alive.

I have seen the journeys of many people, success, failure, rejection, but never have I seen a person's entire journey of effort, downfall, and bounce backs all captured in one single click.

The moral of the story is that you may fail a million times, but never let the failure define you. If you don't fail, you will never learn, and if you don't learn, you will never experience success.

A hard truth - success stems out of failure.  A harder truth - definition of success needs to essentially be your own.

A famous author - poet had once quoted in her poetry - 'Darte hai hum'. She says, "aate mein namak jitna, maathe tilak jitna,  darna zaroori hai. lekin chot khaye bina, fail hua bina, zindagi adhoori hai'
