I HAVE FACED MY SHARE OF 'NO'S...

I HAVE FACED MY SHARE OF 'NO'S...

When I asked my favourite author, “Why do failures sting so much… even when we know they are supposed to teach us?”

She smiled calm, grounded, and slightly amused and said, “Because you  still expect success to come without shaking you a little.”

That line stayed with me.

Honestly, I have faced my share of “No’s” from even before i met her...

The email that never came.
The shortlist that skipped my name.
The opportunity that passed me without pausing
The silent rejections wrapped in polite sentences....

The list is long. ..

And every time, I even re-collect the sharp pinch in the chest and the familiar “Maybe I am not good enough.”

I realise and keep getting reminded of that fact that eventually, we all accept what life has in store but to realise it at times takes an age or more.

- Rejection is not a reflection of who you are.
- It is simply a reminder of who you’re becoming.

Failures don’t break you
They stretch you
They toughen your thinking
They sharpen your instincts
They build emotional muscle

Today, when a door shuts, I still feel the sting but I also smile a little because I know something else now:

-  Every “No” is a direction-change.
-  Every rejection pushes you closer to alignment.
-  Every failure cleans up the path for the right opportunity.
-  And every setback teaches you something success never can.

So if you are standing in front of a closed door today, remember;

“Success rarely arrives without shaking you first., hence it is route, always under construction

Keep walking. Your next chapter is not delayed — it’s preparing you
