Life Skills and Narratives - You are Becoming!

Life Skills and Narratives - You are Becoming!

There once was a pizza being made in a busy kitchen. The dough had already gone through a lot— kneaded, stretched, pushed, punched, flattened, and rolled.

At one point, it even wondered: “Why is life pressing me so much?”

But the chef smiled and whispered (as if dough could hear): “I’m not hurting you. I’m preparing you.”

Then came the sauce—warm, tangy, expressive. It felt like emotions.
Some days sweet, some days sharp.
But it gave flavor, depth, story.

Then came the toppings.

And oh, the toppings were all so different:

The mushrooms who always tried to stay low and gentle. The jalapeƱos who brought drama and spice. The corn who added unexpected sweetness. The olives who thought they looked fancy

The cheese, who just wanted everyone to feel held together !

A whole community of personalities on one soft base— trying to make life delicious.

The pizza looked at itself and thought:
“I don’t know if I make sense.”

But the chef already knew that this mix was perfect for someone out there.

And then it went into the oven.
Heat. Pressure. Intensity. Stillness.

The kind of silence where transformation happens.

The pizza didn’t like this part. It felt like life was too hot, too much and too overwhelming.

But soon the cheese melted into everything, the toppings found their place, the crust became strong enough to hold it all.

And when the pizza came out, It wasn’t the same dough anymore.

It had become something whole.

Something worthy.
Something that could nourish others.

And people looked at it with joy,
shared it with laughter,
and remembered it long after the meal was done.

We are all like that pizza.

Stretched: to become flexible
Pressed : to gain strength
Layered with experiences : some spicy, some sweet
Passed through heat : to become wiser

And finally…

We become someone who can:
- Hold others generously
- Offer warmth
- Bring joy

And make life feel a little more shared..

Not despite the heat, but because of it.

So the next time life feels like an oven, just remember: Something beautiful is melting into place

You’re not breaking. You’re becoming !
