P: Profession Pod Series: Client Management

Client Management

"Customers or Clients" as we call them is the main source of both active and passive business  for any industry. It could be the first deal or a re- purchase. A lot of times it may not necessarily be a purchase per say.

Though #Client #Management is a need of every role today , here are a few segments that prominently need it client management as an attribute.

* Sales / Account Management : These profiles are responsible for acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.

* Customer Success: They focus on ensuring clients derive maximum value from products or services, addressing their concerns, and driving retention and upsell opportunities.

* Consultantncy: Professionals in consulting roles work closely with clients to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.

*Project Management: These profiles oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

* Client Relationships: These individuals are dedicated to managing ongoing relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact and addressing any issues or concerns.

* Business Development: This work role  identifies opportunities for business growth, cultivate relationships with potential clients, and negotiate contracts.

As someone handling Corporate Relations, Training and. Career Services, I too pursue #client #management on a daily basis. Here are the top four skills I leverage  to build lasting relationships:

#Clear #Conmunication
#Understanding #Client #Needs
#Problem-#Solver #Approach
#Building #Trust

Effective #client #management isn't just about meeting deadlines or driving in business in active or passive formats.
It's essentially about fostering trust, understanding, and collaboration !
